Easy to Use Open Top Design
Using a stand mixer can often be daunting. MixStar is designed with ease of use first and foremost, and makes mixing hassle free. The innovative design moves the motor under the bowl to provide an open top design, meaning there is no need to turn off the mixer to add ingredients, or move it out from under cupboards during a mix. Changing over the attachments, removing the bowl and using the controls have been made as simple and straight forward as possible, so you can get on with the task at hand with minimal fuss and bother.
Compact yet Powerful Design
Traditional mixers are often big and bulky, take up valuable work top space and don’t fit in many cupboards. MixStar has been designed with modern living and usage in mind but still retains a large 4 litre working capacity mixing bowl. Without the large mixing arm, it has a smaller footprint and is lower in height, which means it can be stored inside cupboards easier. If you choose to it leave out, MixStar also fits into any kitchen space with ease and can still be operated under a kitchen cupboard. By being able to leave it out and access it more easily, you will get much more out of MixStar.
Easy to Store
Storing a stand mixer and accessories can often be a problem, and leaving accessories loose in the bowl can cause damage. To overcome this as well as preventing you losing parts or scrabbling through drawers and cupboards, we have designed an innovative caddy to store all the accessories neatly. The MixStar caddy sits in the bowl without causing damage, and has a space for each component – so they are ready when you need them.
Full Cover Splash Guard
Mixing can be a messy process, so MixStar includes a transparent splash guard that covers the full bowl. This allows you to keep an eye on your mix, whilst keeping your kitchen surfaces mess free. The splash guard has an inlet built in as well with its own cover, which makes it even easier to add liquids and ingredients to your mix without the worry of the contents splashing out onto you.
Built-in Dual Blade Scrapers
On a traditional stand mixer, you often need to stop the mix in order to scrape down. This requires manoeuvring the machine, raising the arm head and then scraping around repeatedly, which can be messy and tiresome. MixStar includes a dual scraper attachment that can be used with the whisks and beaters. They rotate at the same time as the attachments, scraping down the sides of the bowl and saving you a lot of time and effort. They also help to incorporate all the ingredients, so that you get the perfect mix.
Dual Action Accessories
Stand Mixers rely on one large attachment, and require a few revolutions in order to mix the entire bowl’s contents. MixStar delivers twice the action with dual, counter-rotating mixing attachments. They rotate on their own axis whist also spinning around the bowl, ensuring you get the perfect mix. MixStar includes 2 beaters, 2 whisks and a dual dough hook, as well as crib cards to guide you on what to use for different mixtures. The twin beaters effortlessly incorporate everything into the mixture and are suitable for medium to thick batters. Twin whisks whip in tandem to help incorporate air into your mix more efficiently than standard planetary stand mixers. The dual hook dough blade simulates a skilled artisan baker’s hands as it stretches, folds and tucks bread dough.
Count-up Timer
To help follow recipes with specified mixing times, we have incorporated a digital count-up timer. It starts when you begin mixing, pauses when you do and will continue to count when you start up again. When you enter the next phase of your recipe, you can reset the timer at the touch of a button.

Delivery Terms for Appliances and Old Appliance Removal
If you purchase a washing machine or any other appliance and request the removal of your old appliance, please specify this in the comment section at checkout. Ensure that your old appliance is disconnected and placed outside the premises, ready for collection.

Damaged and Faulty Goods
If your goods are damaged or faulty, we will replace the goods free of charge. If you do not want a replacement, delivery charges may be incurred to collect the item from you. Do not install any damaged items. This counts as acceptance of goods and the item is then non-returnable and non-refundable. Damaged goods must be reported within 48 hours of delivery, please contact us by emailing websales@beattys.ie or by phone on (091) 841403. In the event that goods are received in a damaged state please retain the product together with any packaging and contact us within 48 hours of receipt with photographic evidence. In the case of an item being faulty we may require an inspection by a manufacturer's qualified engineer to be carried out on the item in the location where it is installed. This is so the nature of the fault can be ascertained before we can arrange for a replacement.
All products leave our premises in perfect condition. The customer must notify the carrier (or postman) of even the slightest trace of damage (holes, signs of crushing, etc.) to the parcel, and refuse the package if necessary.
Unwanted Goods
Do not install or use any unwanted items. This counts as acceptance of goods and the item is then non-returnable and non-refundable. You have a statutory right to return unopened goods up to 14 days after receiving your order (“the cooling off period”) and then a further 14 days to return the products. If you are not ordering a replacement, a charge may be incurred to collect the item from you. You must notify us of your wish to cancel within 14 days, starting the day after delivery. You have the choice of returning the goods via your own means ( Beattys of Loughrea, Church Street, Loughrea, Co. Galway) or requesting that we collect them. If you request collection, we will collect the goods on the next available date that one of our delivery vehicles is in your area. You have a duty of care while the goods are in your possession and we reserve the right to charge you for any damage that may have occurred during this period.
We reserve the right to apply re-handling charges for returned items under some circumstances:
- The goods received back are 'as new' but incomplete; i.e. missing components and/or accessories.
- The returned products are missing their original packaging.
- The cancellation was requested after the 14 day notification period.
We do not accept returns and will not provide refunds under the following circumstances:
- The goods you wish to return are in any condition other than 'as new'.
- The goods have been installed and/or used.
- Cables have been cut or terminated.
Refunds will be reimbursed within 30 working days of the cancellation date.
