Heat pump dryers work at lower temperatures than vented or condenser machines, which is easier on clothes and lighter on electricity. This one pushes that further with a Low Temp Dry programme at just 32°C — gentle enough for the things you would normally hang on a rack rather than risk in a dryer.
I-Time measures how damp the load actually is and stops when it is dry, rather than when a timer says so, which is where most dryers waste both energy and fabric life. If the load is headed for the ironing board, Iron Reminder alerts you at 6% humidity — the point where creases press out most easily. Nine kilograms takes a full family wash in one go.
The drum is a laser-welded seamless stainless steel Pillow Drum, cushioned so fabric glides instead of snagging, which is what keeps knitwear from pilling. Hygienic and I-Refresh programmes are VDE certified to remove 99% of bacteria — Hygienic for bedding and towels, I-Refresh for clothes worn once that do not need a full wash.
On the energy label: the EU rescaled tumble dryers in 2025, and this is class D at 128kWh per 100 cycles on the new A to G scale. Haier list it as A++ on the previous scale — the appliance did not change, the scale did. It condenses 91% of the moisture it removes and runs at 64dB.

Why is it class D if heat pump dryers are meant to be efficient?
The EU rescaled tumble dryer labels in 2025 and the whole category shifted down. Haier list this same machine as A++ on the old scale. It uses 128kWh per 100 cycles — compare that figure directly rather than the letter when looking across machines of different ages.
What does the 32°C programme do?
Low Temp Dry runs much cooler than a normal cycle, so it suits delicate items you would otherwise hang up. Lower heat is gentler on fibres and uses less energy.
Do I have to empty a water tank?
Not necessarily. Water collects in the tank by default, but a drain hose is supplied so you can plumb it out and never empty it.
How does I-Time know when to stop?
It senses the moisture in the load and ends the cycle when the clothes are dry, instead of running to a fixed time and over-drying them.
What is the Pillow Drum?

RETURNS
Damaged and Faulty Goods
If your goods are damaged or faulty, we will replace the goods free of charge. If you do not want a replacement, delivery charges may be incurred to collect the item from you. Do not install any damaged items. This counts as acceptance of goods and the item is then non-returnable and non-refundable. Damaged goods must be reported within 48 hours of delivery, please contact us by emailing websales@beattys.ie or by phone on (091) 841403. In the event that goods are received in a damaged state please retain the product together with any packaging and contact us within 48 hours of receipt with photographic evidence. In the case of an item being faulty we may require an inspection by a manufacturer's qualified engineer to be carried out on the item in the location where it is installed. This is so the nature of the fault can be ascertained before we can arrange for a replacement.
All products leave our premises in perfect condition. The customer must notify the carrier (or postman) of even the slightest trace of damage (holes, signs of crushing, etc.) to the parcel, and refuse the package if necessary.
Unwanted Goods
Do not install or use any unwanted items. This counts as acceptance of goods and the item is then non-returnable and non-refundable. You have a statutory right to return unopened goods up to 14 days after receiving your order (“the cooling off period”) and you have a further 14 days to return the goods. If you are not ordering a replacement, a charge may be incurred to collect the item from you. You must notify us of your wish to cancel within 14 days, starting the day after delivery. You have the choice of returning the goods via your own means ( Beattys of Loughrea, Church Street, Loughrea, Co. Galway) or requesting that we collect them. If you request collection, we will collect the goods on the next available date that one of our delivery vehicles is in your area. You have a duty of care while the goods are in your possession and we reserve the right to charge you for any damage that may have occurred during this period.
We reserve the right to apply re-handling charges for returned items under some circumstances:
- The goods received back are 'as new' but incomplete; i.e. missing components and/or accessories.
- The returned products are missing their original packaging.
- The cancellation was requested after the 14 day notification period.
We do not accept returns and will not provide refunds under the following circumstances:
- The goods you wish to return are in any condition other than 'as new'.
- The goods have been installed and/or used.
- Cables have been cut or terminated.
Refunds will be reimbursed within 30 working days of the cancellation date.
