Tribe Vortex Ice Bath Chiller, 1HP
The larger Tribe chiller, and the one that heats as well as cools. It runs a range of 3°C to 42°C, with 2.75kW of cooling and 3.0kW of heating from a 1.0HP system drawing 1.0kW.
Tribe publish a timing figure with its test conditions attached: a 20°C change in either direction in 4.3 hours or less, measured on 340 litres of water starting at 25°C in a 25°C room, and temperature recovery after normal use in 25 minutes or less. Filtration is a paper filter, and the pipe size is 16mm inner diameter.
Control is by mobile app over WiFi and Bluetooth, by the LCD touch panel, or on a timer. It is rated IPX4 and stated as suitable for outdoor use. Tribe list it as compatible with the Tribe Apex Ice Bath, Stainless Steel, Tribe Ultra Ice Bath, Stainless Steel and Canadian Red Cedar, Tribe Boost Ice Bath, Black WPC with Stainless Steel Tank and Tribe Core Ice Bath, Thermo Pine with Stainless Steel Tank.
