Tribe Athens 3 Corner Infrared Sauna, 3-4 Person
An angled cabin built to sit into a corner, with nine heaters and seating for up to four. At 2000mm it is the tallest in the Athens range. Infrared saunas warm your body directly rather than heating the air around you, so the cabin runs at a much lower temperature than a traditional sauna — 30 - 65°C against 65 to 80°C — and it is ready in 20 to 30 minutes.
Heat comes from one carbon heater and eight full spectrum lights, giving Near, Mid & Far Infrared. The interior is Canadian Hemlock, chosen for sauna building because it is low in resin, mild in scent and stays comfortable to touch at temperature.
It runs from a standard 3-pin plug. There is no hardwiring and no electrician needed — plug it into a wall socket rather than an extension lead and it is ready to use. A single digital panel handles the heat, the 7-colour LED lighting and the FM/Bluetooth audio.

How long does it take to heat up?
20 to 30 minutes. Infrared cabins warm the body rather than the air, so they are ready far sooner than a traditional sauna.
How is this different from a traditional sauna?
An infrared cabin runs at 30 to 65°C and warms you directly; a traditional sauna heats the air to 65 to 80°C with a stove and stones, takes 30 to 40 minutes to come up, and has to be wired in by an electrician.
