These are the lights that stop people on the footpath. Rather than sitting there twinkling, the Snowing Iciclebrights run a falling-snow effect down each icicle drop — light chasing downwards, over and over, so the whole run looks like it is quietly snowing along the front of the house.
With 480 LEDs across an 11.8m lit length, this is the size that covers a decent frontage — a full gable, a long gutter run, or the eaves across the front of a standard house — in one go, rather than leaving you joining sets together and hoping they match.
The snowing speed controller lets you set it to suit the house: fast for a lively, busy display, slow for something softer and more elegant, or steady if you would rather they simply stayed lit.
The built-in timer is the part you will appreciate in January. Press the button once at the hour you want them on, and from then on they come on by themselves at the same time every evening and go off again after 8 hours — no plug timer, no standing out in the cold at the socket.
The cable is clear, so by daylight the run all but disappears against render, brick or a white fascia. The LEDs are crisp white — the cooler, icier shade that suits a snowing effect, rather than the amber glow of warm white.

Can I use them outside?
Yes — the lights themselves are made for indoor or outdoor display. The one thing to plan for is the transformer, which must be plugged into an indoor socket. The 10m lead is there to get you from that socket out to where the lights start.
How much of the house will 11.8m cover?
11.8m is the lit section, which takes in the eaves across the front of most standard houses or the full width of a gable. On top of that there is a 10m lead back to the socket, giving 21.8m of cable in total.
How does the timer work?
Press the button once at the time you want them lit. They stay on for 8 hours, switch off, and come back on at that same hour every evening until you unplug them.
Can I turn the snowing effect off?
You can. The speed controller runs fast, slow or steady — and steady simply leaves them lit with no movement at all.
What is the difference between white and warm white?
White is the cooler, icier shade, which is what most people want behind a snowing effect. Warm white is softer and more amber, closer to candlelight. This set is the white.
