Dreame AirStyle Shine AMF17A 5-in-1 Air Styler and Hair Dryer, Gold
The 100,000rpm motor moves a lot of air through a slim handle, so hair dries quickly at relatively low temperatures rather than being cooked to get there.
Three airflow speeds at 40, 50 and 60 metres per second, and three temperatures: ambient, 45°C and 60°C. An NTC sensor samples the temperature 200 times a second and corrects it, so the heat does not spike between readings. A one-press cold shot sets a style once it is in place.
Styling uses the Coanda effect — fast air clinging to a curved surface, which draws hair onto the attachment and shapes it rather than you clamping and pulling. The airflow is also ionic, which is what settles frizz and flyaways.
Five interchangeable attachments come with it, so one handle covers drying, curling, smoothing and finishing.
1200W, 75dB, a 2.7m swivel cord that will not wind itself into knots, and 1.17kg in total. In gold.
