Aurora Planetary Radiant Light, 14cm
The 14cm version, big enough to be the light in the corner of a room rather than an ornament on a shelf. The glass is banded in green, teal and blue over white, with a dark teal vortex at the top. It's the closest thing in the range to a northern sky.
It's cordless, which is what makes it useful. You charge it through a USB-C socket in the base and then it runs with nothing plugged into it, so it can sit in the middle of a table or on a mantelpiece where there's no socket to reach.
Everything is done from a touch button on the base: on and off, the brightness up and down, and the light itself from a crisp cool white through to a soft warm white.

Does it need to be plugged in?
Only to charge. It's cordless and rechargeable, so you top it up through the USB-C socket and then it sits wherever you like with no lead trailing off it.
How do you turn it on?
There's a touch button on the base. Tap it and the sphere lights; hold it and you can take the brightness up and down and move the light from a cool white to a warm white.
Can you change the colour of the swirls?
No. the colours are in the glass itself, which is why they look like weather on a planet rather than a printed pattern. The light behind them is what changes, from crisp cool white to soft warm white.
What else is in the range?
Several more colourways, and a smaller 8cm version that runs off a USB lead if you want one for a bedside table.
