Traditional vs Infrared Saunas

  • Traditional Saunas

Experience the classic warmth of a traditional sauna. Heating the air around you, traditional saunas create an authentic, high-temperature experience, perfect for unwinding and relaxing. Selected models also allow water to be poured over heated stones for an extra burst of steam.

  • Infrared Saunas

Discover a gentler way to enjoy sauna warmth. Infrared saunas use infrared heaters to warm your body directly, rather than primarily heating the surrounding air. Operating at lower temperatures than traditional saunas, they offer a comfortable and relaxing experience for those who prefer less intense heat.

Discover Cold Water Therapy

Discover the refreshing experience of cold water immersion with our range of ice baths. Whether you're exploring cold water therapy for the first time or looking to make it part of your regular routine, find an ice bath to suit your space and lifestyle.

Frequently Asked Questions

Choosing Your Sauna

What's the difference between a traditional sauna and an infrared sauna?

Traditional saunas heat the air around you to create a classic, high-temperature sauna experience. Infrared saunas use infrared heaters to warm your body directly and generally operate at lower temperatures. The best choice depends on the type of warmth and sauna experience you prefer.

What should I consider before buying a sauna?

Before choosing a sauna, consider the space available, how many people will be using it and whether you prefer a traditional or infrared experience. Check the dimensions, indoor or outdoor suitability and electrical requirements of your chosen model before purchasing.

Ice Baths & Cold Water Therapy

What's the difference between an ice bath with a chiller and one without?

An ice bath without a chiller relies on cold water and, if needed, added ice to reach your preferred temperature. An ice bath with a compatible chiller allows you to cool the water more conveniently and maintain a more consistent temperature, without having to keep adding ice. The right choice depends on how often you plan to use your ice bath and the level of temperature control you'd prefer.

How do I keep my ice bath water clean?

Regular cleaning and water maintenance are important for keeping your ice bath fresh and ready to use. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for changing the water, cleaning the bath and maintaining any filtration system. The cleaning routine will depend on your chosen model and how frequently you use it.

Delivery Information

How will my sauna or ice bath be delivered?

Your sauna or ice bath will be delivered directly to you by our specialist supplier. Standard delivery is kerbside, meaning your order will be delivered to an accessible point outside your property.

How long does delivery take?

Delivery is generally estimated at 6–11 working days, subject to stock availability and delivery location. You will be contacted to arrange delivery.

Is delivery included in the price?

Standard delivery is included for eligible orders within the Republic of Ireland. Any additional delivery charges, where applicable, will be confirmed before your order is completed.

Do saunas and ice baths require assembly or installation?

Assembly and setup requirements vary depending on the product. Our traditional saunas are mains-wired and must be connected by a Registered Electrical Contractor (REC) registered with Safe Electric — in Ireland this is classed as Restricted Electrical Work, and your contractor will issue you a Completion Certificate for it. Our infrared saunas, ice baths and chillers plug into a standard socket and need no electrical work.

Beattys does not provide assembly or installation services. Please check the individual product specifications and requirements carefully before purchasing.
