Stellar Profile Matte 28cm Uncoated Stainless Steel Frying Pan
Same generous 28cm pan, softer look. The brushed matte finish takes the shine off the steel, which suits a kitchen where things are meant to look lived-in rather than showroom-new — and it hides the marks of daily cooking rather well.
Underneath the finish it is the working pan you would want anyway: uncoated 18/10 stainless steel with straight sides and real depth, no coating to wear through, metal tools and scourers welcome. A high conductivity base spreads heat evenly right out to the edge, so a pan this wide browns properly instead of scorching in the middle, and internal measuring guides save reaching for a jug.
The cast steel handle gives a firm grip. It suits all hob types, including induction, goes in the oven up to 240°C, and it is dishwasher safe. Stellar cover it with their Lifetime Guarantee.

How does this differ from the standard Profile 28cm pan?
The finish. This one has a brushed matte exterior; the standard Profile 28cm has Stellar's polished brushed finish. Everything else — 18/10 stainless steel, uncoated surface, high conductivity base, cast steel handle, 240°C oven rating and Lifetime Guarantee — is the same.
Does the range come in smaller sizes?
Yes. The Profile frying pan is also available as a 20cm and a 24cm.
Is it non-stick?
No — the cooking surface is bare 18/10 stainless steel. There is no coating to wear out, so metal tools and scourers are fine and the surface will not peel or flake. Let the pan heat properly and use a little oil or butter and food releases well.
Will it work on induction?
Yes. Stellar list the Profile range as suitable for all hob types — gas, halogen, ceramic, solid plate and induction.
