Half a lemon, the heel of a loaf, a bowl of leftovers going into the fridge — these are the jobs cling film gets used for, and the ones a beeswax wrap does better. Warm the wrap between your hands for a few seconds, press it over the bowl or around the cheese, and it moulds and seals itself. When it cools it holds.
The set gives you three wraps: one large 40 x 40cm in the Droplet design, and two 30 x 30cm in Honeycomb — enough to cover a mixing bowl, wrap a sandwich and see to whatever is left over. They are made from cotton and beeswax, and they are 100% natural, organic and compostable.
Washing is simple: cold water and hang to dry. Looked after that way they go on and on, which is rather the point of replacing something you throw out after one use.
