How do I know which vacuum bag fits my vacuum?

Match your vacuum's model number or bag code to the product title. The model number is usually on a label under the vacuum or inside the dust compartment, and many brands print a bag code, such as Miele GN or FJM, on the old bag. If you're unsure, contact the store before ordering.

How often should I change my vacuum bag?

When the bag is full or the indicator shows; a drop in suction is the usual sign. Check the filter at the same time, as a blocked filter reduces suction even with a fresh bag.

Are compatible bags as good as genuine ones?

Yes, if they're made for your model. Genuine bags are made by the vacuum's own brand; compatible bags, such as 4 Your Home and Goblin, fit several brands and usually cost less.

Can I wash my vacuum filter?

Some filters are washable and some must be replaced. Check your vacuum's manual, and let a washed filter dry fully before refitting it.
