Uni-Com Easy Read Electronic Plug-In Timer
A digital timer that switches a lamp or an appliance on and off to a schedule you set. Up to ten different on/off settings a day, run daily or weekly — which is enough to make a house look lived in rather than obviously timed.
That is the main reason people buy one: home security while you are away. The second is the opposite problem — things you do not want left running. Set a time limit on a heater, a charger or an electric blanket and the timer takes care of switching it off.
There is a manual override for when you want it on now, and an internal rechargeable battery that keeps the programme through a power cut, so you are not reprogramming it every time the lights blink.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many on/off times can I set?
Up to ten a day, and you can run the programme daily or weekly.
Will it forget the settings in a power cut?
No. There is an internal rechargeable battery that keeps the programme.
Can I turn the appliance on without changing the programme?
Yes — that is what the manual override is for.
How is this different from the countdown timer?
This one runs a repeating schedule — on at seven, off at eleven, every day. The countdown timer runs once, for a set length of time, and then switches off.
