The TP-Link Tapo P110M turns any ordinary appliance into a smart one. Plug it into the wall, plug your lamp, heater, kettle or TV into it, and you can switch it on and off from your phone, by voice or on a schedule – from anywhere.
What sets the P110M apart is energy monitoring: the Tapo app shows how much electricity whatever's plugged in is using, and you can enter your electricity rate to estimate what it's costing you. It handles up to 13A / 2990W, so it's rated for everyday household appliances.
It's Matter certified, so it works with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, Apple Home and Samsung SmartThings, and its compact mini design leaves the neighbouring socket free on a double wall socket.

Will it fit an Irish wall socket?
Yes. It has a standard UK/Irish 3-pin plug and a matching socket on the front, and its compact body leaves the neighbouring socket free on a double wall socket.
What can I plug into it?
Any appliance up to 13A / 2990W – lamps, fans, heaters, kettles, dehumidifiers, TVs and more. Bear in mind the plug can only switch power on and off, so the appliance needs to come back on by itself when power returns (most lamps and heaters with a mechanical switch do).
How does energy monitoring work?
The Tapo app shows how much power the connected appliance is drawing now and over time. Enter your electricity unit rate and it will estimate the running cost, which is a handy way to find the appliances that are costing you most.
Does it work with Alexa, Google and Apple Home?
Yes. It's Matter certified, so it works with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, Apple Home and Samsung SmartThings. Energy monitoring figures are viewed in the Tapo app.
I need to control more than one appliance – what are my options?
For a TV, desk or entertainment setup, the Tapo 4-Gang Smart Extension Lead gives you four individually controlled sockets with energy monitoring. For lighting, the Tapo L535B Smart Light Bulb works in the same Tapo app.
