The TP-Link Tapo P304M is a 4-gang extension lead where every socket is individually smart. Switch the TV, soundbar, games console and lamp on or off separately from your phone, by voice, or on their own schedules – or press the button on each socket by hand.
Built-in energy monitoring shows how much power each part of your setup is using in the Tapo app, which makes it easy to spot standby drain and cut it. Surge protection helps shield connected electronics from spikes in the supply.
It has a 1.5m cable, a UK/Irish 3-pin plug and a 13A maximum load, and it's Matter certified for Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and Apple Home.

Can I control each socket separately?
Yes. Each of the four sockets can be switched on or off on its own from the Tapo app, by voice, on its own schedule, or with its own button on the lead.
How much can I plug into it?
The lead is rated for a 13A maximum load in total across all four sockets. That's plenty for a TV setup or desk, but avoid running several high-wattage appliances such as heaters and kettles from it at once.
Does it protect against power surges?
Yes, it has built-in surge protection to help shield connected electronics from spikes in the mains supply.
Does it work with Alexa, Google and Apple Home?
Yes. It's Matter certified, so it works with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and Apple Home. Energy monitoring figures are viewed in the Tapo app.
