Terra Azure Planetary Radiant Light, 8cm
A small frosted glass sphere that glows like a planet. The glass is banded in blue, turquoise and leaf green over cream, with a darker teal vortex at the top. The colours run right through it rather than sitting on the surface, so when the base lights up the whole sphere comes alive.
It's 8cm across and sits on a low round wood-grained base. There's nothing to charge and no batteries to buy. It runs off a USB lead with a small on/off switch, so a laptop, a power bank or a plug adaptor will all do the job.
The light adjusts too. You can take the brightness up and down and shift it from a crisp cool white to a soft warm white, which is the difference between a cold clear moon and a warm lamp last thing at night.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does it need batteries?
No batteries at all. It runs off a USB lead, so it'll work from a laptop, a plug adaptor or a power bank, and there's a small on/off switch on the lead itself.
Can you change the colour of the light?
Not the colour of the glass. The swirls are in the sphere itself. What you can change is the light behind them: the brightness adjusts, and it runs from a crisp cool white through to a soft warm white, which changes the whole mood of it.
How big is it?
Small. 8cm across and 9cm tall, so it fits on a shelf edge, a bedside table or a desk beside a keyboard.
What else is in the range?
Quite a few. Each sphere is a different colourway, and the 14cm versions are bigger and cordless if you want one that doesn't need a lead.
