Stanley FatMax Stubby Screwdriver, Pozidriv PZ2 x 30mm
The screwdriver you reach for when there is no room to swing a normal one — inside a kitchen cupboard, behind a cistern, in a consumer unit, under a dashboard. The 30mm blade and short overall length get the tip onto the screw where a full-size driver simply will not fit.
Same build as the rest of the FatMax range: a chrome vanadium steel bar for high torque without folding the tip, and a handle moulded directly onto the shaft so it cannot work loose. The large-diameter soft grip matters more on a stubby than on anything else — it is where all your leverage has to come from. Handles are colour coded by tip type.

What is a stubby screwdriver for?
Screws you cannot reach with a normal driver because something is in the way above them — a shelf, a cupboard carcass, a bonnet, a lid.
Pozidriv or Phillips — which is PZ2?
PZ2 is Pozidriv, the one with the extra fine lines between the main cross. Most screws sold in Ireland and the UK are Pozidriv. Using a Phillips bit in a Pozidriv screw rounds the head.
Is there a PZ1 version?
Yes — Stanley make the same stubby in PZ1 x 30mm for smaller screws.
Will I get enough torque out of a short driver?
The large-diameter handle is what does it. You get less reach but the grip is wide enough to turn a stiff screw.
