FFP2 disposable masks for dusty work — sanding softwood, hand-sanding MDF, cutting slabs, ceramic tile dust. The FFP2 rating suits particles of between 2 and 5 microns, which covers most of what a sander or a disc throws up.
The three-panel tri-fold design covers the nose, mouth and chin and flexes as you talk and move, which is what gets you a better seal than a stiff moulded cup. There is an adjustable nose clip and a soft foam nose piece for a custom fit, elasticated retaining straps, and an exhalation valve that lets the warm air out so breathing is easier and the mask fogs your glasses less.
They fold flat for a pocket or a toolbox. Three masks per pack. Conforms to EN149:2001 and A1:2009. Dispose of each mask after a period of work or a four-hour shift.

How many masks are in the pack?
Three.
What does FFP2 mean?
It is the filtering level under EN149. FFP2 is the middle of the three grades and is rated for particles of 2–5 microns — the range most sanding, cutting and tiling dust falls into.
What is the valve for?
It lets your exhaled breath straight out rather than back through the filter. Breathing is easier over a long stretch, the inside of the mask stays cooler, and glasses fog less.
How long does one mask last?
Scan state they should be disposed of after each period of work or after a four-hour shift. They are disposable, not washable.
Will it seal over a beard?
No disposable mask seals reliably against facial hair. The adjustable nose clip and foam nose piece give a good fit on a clean-shaven face; a beard breaks the seal and the protection goes with it.
