Scan Flexi Safety Spectacles, Mirror Lens
A sports-style safety spectacle, rated against low energy, high-speed impacts of up to 45m/s — 100mph. The lens is a single piece wraparound, which gives you full peripheral vision and side protection without the frame getting in the way.
The mirror lens is the outdoor one. The mirrored coating reflects light away before it reaches your eye, which cuts glare harder than a plain tint — useful on bright days, off wet surfaces, metal roofs and concrete.
The lens is scratch and impact resistant with an anti-fog coating, and UV resistant to EN 170. The frame is ultra-lightweight with super flexible arms and a soft nose bridge.
Conforms to EN 166:1F and EN 170. Also stocked with an amber lens and a blue lens.

Mirror or a plain smoke tint?
A mirror coating reflects light away rather than only absorbing it, so it cuts glare harder. In genuinely low light it is the wrong choice — that is what the amber is for.
What does EN 166:1F mean?
EN 166 is the European eye protection standard. The 1 is the optical class — the highest, suitable for continuous wear. The F is low-energy impact resistance, which here is rated to 45m/s.
Do they protect against UV?
Yes — the lens is UV resistant to EN 170.
