Scan Flexi Safety Spectacles, Amber Lens
A sports-style safety spectacle, rated against low energy, high-speed impacts of up to 45m/s — 100mph. The lens is a single piece wraparound, which gives you full peripheral vision and side protection without the frame getting in the way.
The amber lens is the low-light choice. Amber filters out blue light and lifts contrast, so edges and detail stand out in a dim workshop, a shed or an indoor space with poor lighting — the conditions where a smoke lens would make things worse.
The lens is scratch and impact resistant with an anti-fog coating, and UV resistant to EN 170. The frame is ultra-lightweight with super flexible arms and a soft nose bridge.
Conforms to EN 166:1F and EN 170. Also stocked with a blue lens and a mirror lens.

Do they fog up?
They carry an anti-fog coating. No coating defeats heavy exertion in a cold shed entirely, but it makes the difference between usable and useless.
Is a wraparound lens better?
For a spectacle, yes. A single-piece wraparound removes the frame from your peripheral vision and closes the gap at the sides where debris otherwise gets in.
