Most bowl scales give you a bowl you then have to pour out of, and half the flour ends up on the worktop. This one has two spouts on it — a narrow one for wet and a wide one for dry — so whatever you've weighed goes where you want it.
The clear 2 litre bowl lifts off and goes in the dishwasher, and the add and weigh button means you can tip everything into the one bowl and zero it between each ingredient. No lining up little dishes, far less washing up after, and the base is slim enough to live flat in a drawer.
It weighs to 5kg in 1g steps, switches between metric and imperial, and the Aquatronic setting turns the bowl into a measuring jug for liquids, up to 5 litres. The 2 x AAA batteries are in the box.

What does the dual pour bowl actually do?
It has two spouts instead of one. The narrow spout pours wet ingredients in a controlled stream, and the wide one tips dry ingredients like flour out without half of it going over the side of the bowl.
Can I weigh everything in the one bowl?
You can, and that's the handy bit. Press the zero button after each ingredient and the display goes back to 0, so you just keep adding to the same bowl.
Does it do liquids?
It does — the Aquatronic setting measures liquid by volume, up to 5 litres, so the bowl doubles as a measuring jug. The bowl itself holds 2 litres at a time.
Can the whole thing go in the dishwasher?
The bowl can. The scale itself must not go in or be put under water — there's electronics in it. A wipe with a damp cloth is all it needs.
Does it come with batteries?
It does, 2 x AAA. It also switches itself off on its own, so they'll last — at zero for a minute, or on the same reading for three.
