The medium-duty E-Z HOLD at 12in (300mm). Same one-handed trigger action as the heavy-duty version and the same 300mm capacity, but a 300 lb load limit instead of 600 — and, just as usefully, it weighs 0.850kg against the heavy-duty's 2.5kg.
That weight difference is the real reason to choose it. For holding a jig, steadying a workpiece, clamping a straight edge or pinning something while the glue grabs, the lighter clamp is simply nicer to handle, and you can hang half a dozen off a bench without them dragging it over.
It converts to a spreader clamp, and Pony's patented joining feature lets you link two together for more than double the opening capacity.
Contoured comfort grip, quick-release lever, and deep-reach pads to keep marks off the work. Reach is 3 3/8in (about 86mm).
