Paul Lamond Charades for Kids Game
Charades has been getting families off the sofa for generations, and this is the version built for younger players. Half the cards in the box are picture charade cards, so a child who is still learning to read can pick one up, look at it, and start acting straight away — no grown-up needed to whisper the answer.
The rules are refreshingly simple. Draw a card, roll the 1-2-3 die to find out which of the three ideas on it you have to act out, flip the egg timer and go. Everyone else has one minute to shout out the answer. It is loud, silly and over quickly, which is exactly what you want from a game played with a room full of children.
Suitable for ages 4 and over and 3 or more players, it works just as well as a rainy-afternoon game for two children and a parent as it does at a birthday party.
