Hozelock Threaded Tap and Soft Touch Hose End Connector Set
The pair of fittings that get a hose onto an outside tap: a threaded tap connector that screws onto the tap and stays there, and a hose end connector that clicks onto it.
The hose end connector has a soft touch finish, which is a small thing that matters in practice — the push-and-twist is a good deal easier on cold hands, or wet ones, than a hard plastic collar.
It suits an outdoor threaded tap, so check yours has a thread on the spout before ordering. Both parts are plastic.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is in the set?
Two parts: a threaded tap connector that screws onto the tap, and a soft touch hose end connector that clicks onto it.
Will it fit my outside tap?
It is made for a threaded outdoor tap — one with a screw thread on the spout. If your tap has no thread, you need a different style of connector.
What does soft touch mean?
A softer, grippier finish on the connector body. It is easier to push on and twist off with cold or wet hands than a hard plastic collar.
Will it work with hoses other than Hozelock?
It is part of the standard click-fit system that most domestic hoses and accessories in Ireland use, so in practice yes — but check the fitting on anything you already own rather than assume.
