Faithfull Magnetic Post and Pipe Level
A level that holds itself on the work so both your hands are free. The body is a right-angled plastic plate that seats onto the corner of a square post or against the side of a round pipe, and it stays there on its own – a magnetic base grips a steel fence post, an RSJ or a metal pipe, and an elastic strap wraps round a timber post or a plastic pipe where there is nothing for a magnet to hold.
That is the whole point of the tool. Setting a fence post plumb with an ordinary spirit level means holding the level on one face, reading it, then moving round to the next face, and the post moves in between. This one sits on the corner and reads two faces at once, so you can brace the post or tamp the hole while you watch the bubble.
Three vials: two horizontal and one vertical, accurate to 1.75mm per metre. The plastic body shrugs off wet ground and concrete splash, and at 134g it goes in a pocket.

You can, but you have to hold it on one face, read it, then move to the adjacent face – and the post shifts while you do. This one stays on the corner and reads both faces at once, leaving your hands free to brace and backfill.
