Faithfull Brick Line Runner 9-12cm
A quicker alternative to a traditional line block. Tie your line onto the runner and clamp it over the course with the spring-loaded jaws - no pins, no corner blocks relying on the tension of the line to stay put. Anti-slip pads grip the face of the block or brick so the runner holds its position while you lay.
The 9-12cm in the name is the width of material it clamps onto, not the size of the runner: it fits block and brick between 90mm and 120mm wide. The body is engineering plastic and the spring is stainless steel, so it survives being dropped in mortar and left in a wet bag.
Sold individually. A line needs one at each end of the run, so order two if you are setting out on your own.

What does 9-12cm refer to?
The width of the block or brick the runner clamps onto - 90mm to 120mm. It is not the size of the runner itself. A standard 100mm block sits comfortably in that range.
How many do I get?
One. A line runs between two points, so you need two runners to pull a line - order a pair.
Is the line included?
No. The runner takes your own brick line, which you tie on.
How is it different from a corner block?
A corner block relies on the tension in the line to hold it against the quoin. This clamps on under spring pressure with anti-slip pads, so it stays where you put it and can be moved up a course one-handed.
