The station does most of the work on this one. It empties the robot into a 2.5 litre bag that lasts around 60 days, refills its water, washes the mop in 60°C hot water and then dries it with 55°C hot air. A mop that gets dried does not go sour, which is what goes wrong with most mopping robots by about week three.
Suction is 35,000Pa. The mop is a 29cm roller pressing down at 16 newtons and self-cleaning as it goes, so it is washing with fresh water rather than pushing dirty water around. It extends 32mm to reach the skirting, and the CornerRover side brush swings out 40mm into corners.
Navigation is iPath Laser mapping with AI.See 3.0 obstacle avoidance — an RGB camera with a fill light and dual line lasers that works in the dark and recognises over 280 kinds of object down to a cubic centimetre. It lifts the mop clear when it meets carpet, climbs thresholds up to 3cm and runs up to 180 minutes. The eufy Clean app holds up to five floor maps, the no-go zones and the room-by-room cleaning.
