A full S3 safety boot in a hiker pattern, which is what most people want on a site that is half mud and half concrete: ankle support, a proper tread, and the protection in the right places.
The upper is full grain nubuck leather over a Sympatex waterproof and breathable membrane — the part that matters in an Irish winter, because a boot that keeps water out and sweat in is no better than a wet one by three o'clock.
Protection is a steel toecap rated to 200 joules and a steel midsole for anything underfoot — a nail through a sole being the injury that puts people off work. The TPU sole resists petrol, chemicals, oil and temperatures to 120°C, and is anti-static. Inside there is a dual-density anti-bacterial insole, and the whole boot is built light and flexible with shock absorption.
