Beer poured into a glass chosen for it tastes noticeably better, and that is the whole idea behind the Wine & Bar range — Dartington's more considered line, where each shape is made for one drink rather than pressed into service for everything.
This one is a slimline beer glass: tall and narrow at 206mm, holding 395ml. The narrow profile is what keeps the head intact and the bubbles travelling up through the beer instead of collapsing, which is exactly what a pilsner or a hoppy craft ale wants. The clear glass shows off the colour, from a pale lager to something amber and cloudy.
