Dartington Cheers! Optic White Wine Glasses, Set of 4
Same easy 350ml white wine glass as the rest of the Cheers! range, with one lovely difference: an optic finish. Optic simply means the bowl has been moulded with a soft, vertical ripple pressed into the glass rather than left perfectly smooth — you feel it under your fingers before you notice it, and when the light catches it the whole glass picks up a gentle shimmer.
It is a small thing that makes a table look considered without any effort. Pour a cold Sauvignon in on a summer evening and the ripples throw the light about; put them out for a dinner and they read as a step up from an everyday glass. Underneath it all they are still practical: lead-free crystal, 226mm tall on a slim stem, and dishwasher safe.
If you would prefer the plain, smooth-bowled version, look for the standard Cheers! White Wine set — identical capacity and height, just without the moulded pattern. Supplied as a set of 4.

What does "optic" actually mean?
It is a moulding technique. The bowl is formed with a gentle vertical ripple pressed into the glass instead of being left perfectly smooth. It is subtle to the touch and shows itself most when light passes through the glass. It is purely decorative — it does not change the capacity or how the glass drinks.
How is this different from the plain Cheers! White Wine set?
Only the finish. This one has the optic-moulded ripple, the standard set has a smooth bowl. Both hold 350ml, stand 226mm tall and come in fours.
Are these dishwasher safe?
Yes. Dartington confirms the Cheers! range as dishwasher safe — the optic finish is moulded into the glass, not applied to the surface, so it will not wear off.
