Crystalex Amoroso Wine Glasses 350ml, Pack of 2
Two glasses, one bottle, an evening with nowhere to be. The Amoroso shape is named for exactly that — a softly rounded bowl that Crystalex describe as opening like a rose blossom, drawn in at the neck so the aroma gathers just where you lift the glass.
At 350ml and a tall, fine-stemmed 21.6cm, it is a particularly lovely glass for white wine — crisp things, chilled things, the bottle that comes out when the day is finally done. Supplied as a pair, which is rather the point.
Made in the Czech Republic from lead-free crystalline glass and dishwasher safe — a gentle programme at no more than 60°C with a mild detergent is recommended, with the glasses spaced so they are not touching.
Also available: the larger Amoroso Wine Glasses 450ml, a fuller bowl better suited to red — the same shape, so the two sizes look right together.

Are they dishwasher safe?
Yes. Crystalex list Amoroso as dishwasher safe on a gentle programme at no more than 60°C with a mild detergent. Load them so they are not touching each other or other items, and open the door once the cycle finishes.
Is this lead crystal?
No. Amoroso is made from lead-free crystalline glass in the Czech Republic — machine-made rather than hand-cut lead crystal. You get the clarity and sparkle of Bohemian glass with none of the lead content.
What is the difference between the 350ml and the 450ml?
The 350ml has a slightly narrower bowl on a 21.6cm stem and is the better white wine glass. The 450ml is fuller and taller at 22.7cm, with more room to swirl a red. They share the same silhouette, so they look right on the same table.
Can I use them for water or soft drinks?
Absolutely — there is nothing to stop you. The Amoroso range is designed around wine, but a tall stemmed glass of sparkling water looks lovely on a set table.
