Creative Products Doodle Pad LCD Drawing Tablet
Draw on it, press the erase button, and it is blank again. That is the whole idea, and it is the reason one of these lasts a car journey to Donegal where a colouring book and three crayons do not.
The screen is 120mm x 165mm of pressure-sensitive LCD, so the line gets thicker when you press harder. There is a lock button too, which holds whatever is on the screen until somebody chooses to clear it — handy when a child has drawn something they want to keep until they can show it to someone.
A stylus comes with it, and it is slim and light enough to go in a bag, a glovebox or the back of a car seat.
It is not only for children. The same pad works for a shopping list on the fridge, a phone message by the hall table, or notes at a desk, and nothing goes in the bin afterwards.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do you rub out a drawing?
There is an erase button that clears the whole screen in one press. There is no rubber and nothing to wipe.
What is the lock button for?
It holds whatever is on the screen so it cannot be erased by accident — useful if a drawing is to be kept until somebody gets home to see it.
Does it come with a pen?
Yes, a stylus is included.
How big is the drawing area?
120mm x 165mm, so roughly the size of a postcard turned on its side.
Is it just for children?
No. It suits shopping lists, phone messages and desk notes as readily as drawing, and it saves getting through paper.
