Britains 1:32 JCB 80th Anniversary 542-70 AgriPro Loadall, Limited Edition
JCB marked eighty years in business with a run of special-edition machines finished in satin black with chrome detailing instead of the usual yellow, and Britains have modelled the 542-70 AgriPro Loadall from that run.
A Loadall is a telescopic handler — the farm machine that does everything a forklift and a loader do and reaches over a stack while it is at it. On the model the telescopic boom extends and retracts, and the bucket tilts forwards and back. The bucket comes off and swaps for the pallet fork set, so it loads bales as readily as it shifts grain.
It is 1:32 scale in die-cast metal and plastic, which is the standard farm-model scale — it works alongside Britains, Siku and Bruder tractors of the same scale rather than sitting oddly next to them.

What age is it suitable for?
Three years and over. It is a play model rather than a static display piece — Britains' display-only Prestige models carry a 14+ guidance, and this is not one of those.
What does the telescopic boom do?
It extends and retracts, which is the whole point of a Loadall: it reaches up and out over a stack rather than just lifting straight up like a forklift. The bucket on the end tilts forwards and backwards.
Can I change the bucket?
Yes. The bucket comes off and the pallet fork set goes on in its place, so it will carry bales and pallets as well as shift loose material.
Will it match my other farm models?
It should. 1:32 is the standard farm-model scale, so it sits correctly alongside Britains, Siku and other 1:32 tractors and trailers rather than looking out of proportion.
What makes it a limited edition?
It is modelled on JCB's 80th Anniversary machine, which the real manufacturer built as a special edition in satin black rather than the usual JCB yellow. Britains have not published an edition size for the model itself, so we are not going to put a number on it.
