The scales are the point of this one. They are built into the machine, so ingredients are weighed directly in the bowl as you add them — no separate scales, no extra bowl to wash, and no second-guessing when a recipe is given by weight.
The 1000W motor is sized for the heavy end of the work: the 3.9 litre stainless steel bowl takes up to 2.7kg of cake mix or 1.9kg of yeast dough. 3D PlanetaryMixing moves the tool to stretch, reach, lift and fold the way a hand would, so nothing is left sitting around the edge of the bowl.
It arrives as more than a mixer. In the box are a Tritan blender, a continuous shredder with four discs, a meat mincer, a citrus press and Bosch's professional patisserie set of whisk, stirrer and kneading hook, with a bag that stores inside the bowl.
