Emergency Kit – Radio, Torches, Power Bank & Charging Cable
Power cuts, storms and unplanned trips away from home all have one thing in common: they're a lot easier to deal with when you've a few essentials ready to grab. This Emergency Kit bundles five practical items together – a portable radio, a handheld LED torch, an LED headtorch, a power bank and a multi-connector charging cable – so you're not caught out when the lights go, the phone signal drops, or you're heading off camping or on the road.
The packaging itself references Ireland's national Be Emergency Ready awareness campaign (gov.ie/beEmergencyReady), which encourages households to keep a basic set of supplies like these on hand for storms, power cuts and other emergencies – at home, on the road, outdoors, or when severe weather hits.

Frequently Asked Questions
What's included in the kit?
A portable AM/FM radio, an LED torch, an LED headtorch, a 4000mAh power bank, and a 3-in-1 charging cable – five essentials in one kit.
Which radio is supplied?
The kit always contains a portable AM/FM radio, but the brand and model supplied may vary, so it is not possible to request a specific one.
Are batteries included?
Yes – the LED torch and LED headtorch both come with batteries included, so they're ready to use.
Is this only for storms and power cuts?
Not at all – it's just as handy for camping, festivals, road trips, or keeping in the car, as it is for emergencies at home.
Does this kit follow official emergency-preparedness guidance?
The packaging references Ireland's Be Emergency Ready campaign at gov.ie/beEmergencyReady, which encourages households to keep basic supplies like these on hand. It's a helpful starting point, but do check the official guidance for a full list of what's recommended for your household.
