Put the kettle on. This Bigjigs set holds 18 wooden biscuits in a smooth wooden storage box, and between them they cover most of what you would actually find in a biscuit tin: gingerbread men, party rings, custard creams and pink wafers among them.
These are pretend biscuits, not real food, and that is the point. They are there to be handed round at a tea party, stacked behind a play shop counter, counted, sorted and solemnly offered to a grown-up who then has to pretend to eat one. The box doubles as the tidy-up, which parents appreciate rather more than children do.
