BABY born Swimming Lizzie Wind-Up Swim Doll 30cm
Most dolls have to sit on the side of the bath and watch. Not Lizzie. Wind up her arms, set her down in the water and she swims off by herself – front crawl or butterfly, depending on how you position her arms. It is the kind of thing a small child will ask you to do again, and again, and again.
She is a 30cm BABY born doll (the smaller size in the range, rather than the 43cm BABY born dolls), with a moulded swimsuit and swim cap that stay on in the water, and movable arms, legs and head. The whole doll is waterproof with a quick-drying surface, so she comes straight back out of the bath and carries on being a doll.
Best of all for whoever is buying her: no batteries. The swimming is a simple wind-up mechanism, so there is no battery compartment to worry about near water and nothing to run flat on Christmas morning. Suitable from 1 year, with adult supervision around water.

How does she actually swim?
