Stellar Profile 28cm Uncoated Stainless Steel Frying Pan
This is the big one — the pan you get out when there are four of you at the table and everything has to cook at once. At 28cm there is room for a full pan of rashers, four chicken fillets side by side, or a Sunday fry that does not have to be done in relays.
It is made from uncoated 18/10 stainless steel with a brushed finish and straight sides that give you real depth to work with. There is no coating to wear through, so metal tools and scourers are fine and the surface will not peel, flake or degrade. A high conductivity base spreads heat evenly right out to the edge — which matters most in a pan this wide — and internal measuring guides save reaching for a jug.
The cast steel handle gives you a firm grip on a heavy pan. It suits all hob types, including induction, goes in the oven up to 240°C, and it is dishwasher safe. Stellar cover it with their Lifetime Guarantee.

How is this different from the matte 28cm pan?
Only the finish. This one has Stellar's brushed polished finish; the Profile Matte 28cm is the same pan with a brushed matte exterior. Both are uncoated 18/10 stainless steel with the same base, handle, oven rating and guarantee.
Is it non-stick?
No — this is the uncoated version, bare 18/10 stainless steel. There is no coating to wear out, so metal tools and scourers are fine and the surface will not peel or flake. Let the pan heat properly and use a little oil or butter and food releases well.
Can it go in the oven and the dishwasher?
Both. It is oven safe up to 240°C and dishwasher safe. It also suits all hob types, including induction.
