Tramontina Astro 30cm 15.2L Stainless Steel Stock Pot
Every good kitchen has one big pot that earns its keep — the one that comes out for a Sunday stew, a vat of soup when the weather turns, pasta for a houseful, or a Christmas ham. The Tramontina Astro stock pot is that pot. At a generous 30cm across and holding 15.2 litres, it's built in stainless steel with a bright, easy-to-wipe finish that looks at home on the hob and smart enough to carry straight to the table.
Underneath sits a triple-layer base — stainless steel, aluminium, stainless steel — which is what stops a big pot like this catching in the middle while the edges stay cold. Heat spreads evenly across the whole base, so a slow-simmered sauce behaves itself and a rolling boil comes up quickly. It works on every hob type, induction included, so it will move house with you.
The side handles and lid knob are finished with silicone grips that stay comfortable to hold, and the tempered glass lid lets you keep an eye on things without letting the steam out. When you're done, it goes straight in the dishwasher.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does it hold?
15.2 litres — enough for a big batch of soup or stock, pasta for a crowd, or a ham at Christmas.
Will this work on an induction hob?
Yes. The triple-layer stainless steel and aluminium base is designed for all hob types, induction included, as well as gas, electric and ceramic glass.
Can it go in the oven?
No. The silicone grips on the handles and lid knob mean this pot is for hob use only.
Is it dishwasher safe?
Yes, it's dishwasher safe. A quick hand wash and dry will keep the stainless steel at its brightest, but the dishwasher is perfectly fine for everyday use.
Does it come with a lid?
Yes — a tempered glass lid is included, so you can keep an eye on what's cooking without lifting it off.
Is the interior coated?
No, the interior is uncoated stainless steel. There's no non-stick layer to scratch or wear away, so it stands up well to stirring, scrubbing and years of heavy use.
