If you have fallen branches to clear after a stormy week or a pile of seasoned timber that needs cutting into stove-sized logs for the winter, this ProPlus Evolve 40V Cordless Chainsaw makes short work of the job without any of the hassle of petrol. There is no mixing two-stroke oil, no pulling your shoulder out on a stubborn recoil cord, and no breathing in smelly exhaust fumes while working in the shed or back garden. Just click in the high-capacity battery, hit the trigger, and you have instant, smooth cutting power right at your fingertips.
What sets this ProPlus Evolve 40V Cordless Chainsaw kit apart is the complete, ready-to-work package. Powered by a robust, efficient brushless motor, it squeezes maximum cutting torque and longer runtimes out of the supplied 4.0Ah lithium-ion battery. The included fast charger gets you powered back up with minimal downtime, while the tool-free chain tensioning wheel means you can adjust chain slack on the fly without rooting through your pockets for a scrench. Fitted with an automatic chain lubrication system and an instant-stop safety brake, it delivers the cutting performance homeowners and DIYers need while keeping handling balanced, quiet, and remarkably lightweight.
You can call out to our store right in the middle of Loughrea to inspect our power equipment and pick one up for the garden. Q&A Section:Q: Does this kit come with the battery and charger included? A: Yes, this complete PPS965375 kit comes supplied with the 40V 4.0Ah lithium-ion battery pack and the compatible fast charger.
Q: Do I still need to put oil in a cordless chainsaw? A: Yes, you do. While the battery powers the motor, the guide bar and cutting chain still need dedicated chainsaw bar and chain oil to prevent friction and overheating. The built-in automatic oil reservoir keeps it lubricated while cutting.
Q: Can this chainsaw handle cutting thick tree trunks for firewood? A: It is well capable of cutting through seasoned timber, logs, and branches up to 10–12 inches in diameter with ease, making it ideal for domestic firewood prep, storm clean-up, and general garden pruning.
