Treebrights are built on one idea: put the bulbs closer together. At 2.5cm spacing this set puts roughly four times more light per metre into a tree than an ordinary string, which is why a tree lit with them looks dressed rather than outlined.
There are 240 white LEDs over a 6m lit length, with 5m of lead cable before the first bulb so the plug reaches the socket without a trail of dark flex across the branches.
Eight settings run from a steady glow to slow fades and chasing effects, and the timer brings the set on for 8 hours and off for 16, at the same time every evening, on its own.
