Height without width. The Killington Fir rises to 7.5ft (2.25m) on a slim frame just 111cm across, which is how you get a tree that fills the eye in a room that could never take a spreading eight-footer.
There are 1,329 tips on it, 425 in moulded PE and 904 in soft-needle PVC, so the branches have real depth close up and a convincing outline from across the room. The lights are already strung through the branches, which is the single biggest hour saved in December.
Three sections, hinged branches, a folding metal base. Up in minutes, and tall enough to be the first thing anyone sees.
