This is the big one. The Geneva Fir stands 8ft (2.4m) and carries 3,263 tips — 2,125 moulded PE and 1,138 PVC — which is a density you can see from the door. The branches do not gap, the interior is filled, and the outline is a proper classic fir rather than a cone of wire.
The lights are built in, strung through the branches before it is packed, so a tree of this scale goes from box to lit in one evening rather than two.
It builds in three sections on a folding metal base, with hinged branches that drop as you go. At 136cm across it needs room, and it earns it.
