It is co-operative: the Supa Buddies are working together to deal with the fleas, and the table either wins together or loses together. For children who find losing hard work, that single design decision changes the whole evening.

The box opens out into a proper game board with 6 Supa Buddies playing pieces, a Robo-Brontosaurus that assembles onto its own base, a spinner and 20 tool tokens to collect along the way. Turns are driven by the spinner, so there is no reading-heavy rules lookup mid-game — spin, move, decide together what the group does next.

University Games recommend it for ages 6 and over and it plays with 2 to 6 players, which is a wider table than most children's board games manage.
